Managing Partner & Founder
Chris Cronin established CBC Financial to be a professional, reliable, and trustworthy real estate lending company. With a construction management degree, an active general contractor’s license and over twenty years of hands-on experience in construction and development, Chris prides himself on being able to understand what builders and developers need to achieve success. He has built solid relationships with industry leaders, providing him with the foundation and market knowledge to make smart consistent and timely investment decisions. Balancing vision with experience, Chris continues to lead the growth of CBC Financial.
David Kennedy
Partner
Dave Kennedy’s professional background prior to joining CBC was focused on institutional commercial real estate and banking, specializing in acquisitions, market research and portfolio/asset management for a $5 Billion multifamily real estate fund. Dave has taken his knowledge of the commercial real estate industry and applied it to the residential development sector, creating proprietary analytics, market research and reporting tools that enable our business model to help builders properly vet their projects for profitability and risk. By making data useful and accessible to builders, he develops mutually beneficial business relationships that support client growth and make the financing experience smoother and easier.
Wyatt Peoples
Partner
Wyatt Peoples joined CBC Financial with more than 10 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining the team, Wyatt worked within the commercial real estate space managing a fund with over 5.5 billion in holdings. Wyatt focuses on growing CBC’s network of builders and is responsible for full pipeline management from acquisition to disposition. Wyatt’s approach helps facilitate seamless transactions and ensures healthy, prosperous business relationships with our developer partners.
Bryan Sutherlin
Business Development Associate
Bryan joined CBC Financial with over 5 years of experience in the residential and commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining the team, Bryan worked with a civil engineering and development consultant firm on projects throughout New England. Bryan is focused on operational expansion throughout the Greater Boston market with an emphasis on relationship management and development.
Ann Neely
Staff Accountant
Ann Neely joined CBC Financial in 2018 bringing an enthusiasm for real estate and a wide range of accounting experience working across different industries as well as operating her own successful bookkeeping business. Ann provides CBC’s Management with corporate and Fund level reporting. Ann also oversees the accounting department’s day-today operations ensuring that CBC’s core values and integrity is carried through internally and externally.
Tracy Knowlton
Operations & Transaction Manager
Tracy joined CBC Financial in November of 2022. She has 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. She was an administrator for 13 years in a real estate office, and then worked as legal assistant for 6 years in a law firm handling both residential and commercial conveyancing. Her strong organizational skills and focus on workflow efficiency serve her well as our Operations Manager. Tracy is liaison for the team on all our projects from acquisition to disposition. Managing compliance with transactional documentation, contracts, and insurance.

CBC provides specialty private lending secured by residential real estate assets. We primarily lend to builders, developers and investors in Massachusetts, Seacoast New Hampshire and Maine.
